Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast receiver with Flight Management System monitoring software
ADS-B portable ground stations allow ADS-B flight parameter information to be received locally in the field. Precise, real-time shared information signals from transponders mounted on aircraft (planes, helicopters, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) within range of the receivers are pre-processed within the ground station and then retransmitted (via GSM/LTE or WiFi/wire/fiber optic cable) to central systems responsible for airspace surveillance and situation monitoring.
ADS-B ground stations are lightweight, weatherproof and easy to use in a variety of environments. Features include dual SIM card for cellular communications protection, remote management for online reconfiguration and maintenance, an internal GPS receiver for autonomous positioning. In areas with cellular coverage, simply connect the unit equipped with an external antenna to AC or DC power in the field to begin normal operation in just seconds.
Data from Ground Stations can be retransmitted to central or local systems (e.g., for monitoring or managing flight operations), and then consolidated/presented in various formats according to user needs.
The Flight Management System monitoring system allows real-time drone flight monitoring with 2D/3D visualization (including in the field). The tool is equipped with a number of supporting tools, such as monitoring of aircraft and ADS-B receivers, uploading and editing of zones and polygons of monitored areas, calculation of distance between objects, multilateration, visualization of aerial obstacles from the SAMPLE system, a module for reporting the occurrence of dangerous situations.
